Doctor Hugo Houvenagel joined the Plaines-du-Loup veterinary team in 2018. He trained in Belgium, first in Namur and then in Liège.
Dr Houvenagel then furthered his knowledge in various training courses, as well as in veterinary practices in France and Réunion, including an internship at the NORDVET referral centre in Lille. Dr Houvenagel is a highly committed member of the veterinary profession, and obtained his Certificat d'Etudes Approfondies Vétérinaires (CEAV) in internal medicine in 2020. His knowledge has been enhanced by ultrasound training, to complement his medical imaging and endoscopy diagnostics.
Dr Houvenagel is highly motivated and committed to the Plaines-du-Loup veterinary community, and became Director of the practice in 2024.
